She gets by with a little help from… wine!

Hillary Clinton reflected on what could have been during her commencement speech at her alma mater, Wellesley College, on Friday, May 26 — and revealed what got her through her difficult election loss to President Donald Trump in November.

“You may have heard that things didn’t go exactly as I planned but, you know what, I’m doing okay,” she said. “I’ve gotten to spend time with my family, especially my amazing grandchildren.” Hillary, 69, even joked that “long walks in the woods” and “organizing my closet” made the loss easier. “I won’t lie, Chardonnay helped a little, too,” she hilariously added. We feel you, Hillary!

“But here’s what helped most of all,” she said. “Remembering who I am, where I come from, and what I believe. And that is what Wellesley means to me.”

Similarly, in March 2017, Hillary opened up about her post-election life. “I have had my ups and my downs. In the last months I have done my share of sleeping, a little soul searching and reflecting, long walks in the woods, and in those moments I am thankful for my own village, my community and family and friends who have supported and encouraged me,” she said at the time, according to CNN.

“I have also been buoyed by the love and support that I have received by the young women I have mentored over my time. They inspire me every day,” Hillary added. “We have to keep fighting. We have to remain stubborn. We have to look for ways to mentor and support. And we have to understand that despite setbacks and stumbles on our long march to full equality, everywhere I look, there are signs of hope.”

However, it doesn’t look like the Clintons and Trumps have maintained a friendship since Donald’s big win. As previously reported, Hillary’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, and Donald’s daughter Ivanka Trump are no longer friends! “The thing about Ivanka and Chelsea burying the hatchet is nonsense,” the insider told Life & Style. “There’s no friendship there anymore.”
