Like many other A-list Hollywood stars, Heidi Klum leaves her kids at home when she attends award shows. But at last night’s Emmys, the mom-of-four revealed her kids are always begging to go with her to events but she won’t bring them!

“They always want to come with me — ‘Mom, can we please come?’ — but I always say, ‘It’s kind of work, I’m talking to a lot of television stations, we’re doing photos, and then we’re sitting and you have to be quiet. For them, it’s a little bit boring,” she told People on the red carpet.

Heidi admitted that her children — Leni, 14, Henry, 13, Johan, 11, and Lou, 8 — might find more interest in going to an event that’s more kid-friendly than the Emmys. “I think it is not as fun as a movie [premiere] or something like that, or music,” she explained.

Heidi stunned on the 2018 Emmys red carpet in a long, powder pink satin gown with a gorgeous diamond necklace. Following in her mother’s famous footsteps, Heidi’s youngest daughter, Lou, might be making her own red carpet appearance very soon. Heidi already thinks that Lou is “extremely gifted on the piano and is encouraging her to develop her remarkable skills,” a source recently told OK! magazine

“She wants Lou to have the best musical education that money can buy. She’s very proud of her little girl and wants to see her go far,” the source said, adding that the model mom is rooting for her daughter to make it in Hollywood just like she did.
