Congrats!Hannah Davis Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 1 With Husband Derek Jeter
Hannah Davis and Derek Jeter are going to be parents!
The 26-year-old model announced she is pregnant and expecting her first baby — a little girl! — with her athlete husband, Derek, 42, via The Players’ Tribune on Monday, Feb. 13.
“Now, pregnant with our first child, Derek and I are looking to the future. He already has a name in mind — he’s set on it. (We’ll see). He’ll say when he calls me during the day: ‘So, how are you and so-and-so doing?’ ‘That’s not the name yet, sweetie.’ Whatever her name is, I know she’ll run circles around him,” Hannah wrote on the sports media platform.

“Derek and I will want our children to understand that the lives they’ve been given are so fortunate, in so many ways. We’ll want them to learn to help others, and to care for others, and to give back to the world,” she continued, hinting she and Derek want to have several children together.

“We’ll let them know that they are strong and smart and that they can do anything they put their minds to. I hope they’ll be honest like their father. I hope they’ll be stubborn like me,” Hannah added. “I hope that they know what they want and won’t settle for less. And if they want to play baseball, well, we’re gonna have a little talk first.”
Hannah and Derek — who famously played professional baseball for the New York Yankees — tied the knot in July 2016 after dating for three years. After retiring from baseball in 2014, Derek revealed he was eager to start a family with his new bride.

“I look forward to having a family. I just don’t think personally I would have been able to juggle family and my career at the same time… I have the utmost respect for these guys that are able to do it — you know, missing their kids’ birthdays and not being able to see them play tee ball or summer ball and missing a lot of time,” he said during a previous interview.

“So, it’s another reason why I feel as though now’s the time. I mean, I want to have a family. Who knows when it’s gonna be? But I look forward to it,” Derek added.
