Halle Berry’s Son Maceo, 6, Looks So Grown Up in Separate Outings With Famous Mom and Dad Oliver
It looks like Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are crushing the coparenting game! The former lovebirds were spotted on separate outings in the new year, and fans can’t believe how big their son, Maceo, is getting.
The beloved actress, 53, was first spotted out and about with her adorable 6-year-old as they enjoyed an outing on January 3. Halle and her little bundle of joy were all smiles as they took a stroll around Beverly Hills. They were even wearing matching onesies — so cute!
On January 15, Maceo was photographed as he and dad Olivier — who Halle was married to for three years from their wedding in 2013 until their divorce was finalized in 2016 — while out in Los Angeles. The Unfaithful actor, 54, held tightly onto his little man’s hand as Maceo rode on a three-wheel scooter.
Considering it feels like just yesterday when Halle welcomed Maceo, as well as 11-year-old daughter Nahla, into her life, we can’t believe how quickly her brood is growing up. While reflecting on her path to motherhood, the Monster’s Ball star — who shares Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry — explained why she’d most likely have more kids had she not waited until later in life.
“I became a mom at 40. Knowing that someone would always be counting on me made me a better person,” the Oscar winner shared with InStyle in May 2019. “I’m more focused and in line with my values and my goals. I stopped letting negativity get me down. Plus, I loved being pregnant. Had I started earlier, I probably would have had five children,” she continued. “Or if I hadn’t been busy trying to make movies, I would have been the perfect surrogate. All the hormones made me feel amazing.”
Although Halle would’ve loved to be the mom of a big brood, the Catwoman actress has no regrets. “You’re so much more ready to be a parent after 40 than when you’re 20,” she exclusively shared with Closer Weekly at the premiere of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. “You know yourself better.”
