At age 45, you would think that Gwyneth Paltrow has it all. But even with a successful acting career, a beautiful family, and killer looks, the working mom just candidly admitted that she's actually always wanted to have another baby.
"All I'm saying is it's not nothing," Gwyneth recently told The New York Times in a new interview. "I really wanted another one." Gwyneth welcomed her kids, daughter Apple, 14, and son Moses, 12, with her former husband, Chris Martin. The pair were married for a decade before they announced their "conscious uncoupling" in 2014.
At the time, Gwyneth and Chris' use of the phrase "conscious uncoupling" to describe their split sent fans and the media into a frenzy. "I was really saying we're in a lot of pain, we failed at this; we're going to try and do it in a different way," she explained to the NYT of their breakup statement. "But I was so raw that I didn’t anticipate… I think that was an instance where it really hit me that an insouciance with language from me is different than from somebody else."
Not only did the Iron Man actress not know how to deal with the backlash, but America began to label her as the "most hated celebrity," and Gwyn didn't know how to handle it. "I remember being like, 'Really? More than, like, Chris Brown? Me? Really? Wow,'" she recalled. "It was also the same week that I was People’s Most Beautiful Woman. For a minute I was like, 'Wait, I don’t understand. Am I hated to the bone or am I the world's most beautiful?'"
Now, years after her split from Chris, Gwyneth is seemingly happier than ever with her recent engagement to producer Brad Falchuk. "We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship," the couple said in a statement earlier this year. We can't wait for their wedding!
