Are we seeing double? Gwyneth Paltrow took a selfie with her daughter, Apple Martin, on Wednesday, Sept. 26, and the two seriously look like twins in the new pic. Perhaps it’s because the 14-year-old is sporting a face full of makeup in the snap!
“Happy #NationalDaughtersDay Apple Martin, it’s like I conjured you from a dream, you make my life,” Gwyneth, 46, captioned the sweet pic of the two.
Some of Gwyneth’s celebrity friends even gushed over Apple — who, by the way, looks adorable with pink hair — in the comments. Gwen Stefani wrote, “My goodness she is adorable.” Kate Hudson added, “My oh my!” The photo also garnered likes from Drew Barrymore, Shonda Rhimes, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Reese Witherspoon, Blake Lively, and more.
Fans also took to the comments to point out the resemblance between the two. “Apple is a mixture of you and Chris! Beauty indeed!” one wrote. Another added, “Mini-me ???.” One confessed, “I feel like she was just born!” So do we! It’s Apple grew up overnight.
Gwyneth and her ex-husband, Chris Martin — they wed in 2003 and their divorce became official in 2016 —previously welcomed the teen in 2004. They are also parents to a 12-year-old son, Moses, who was born in 2006.

Happy birthday, my darling girl. You make everyday feel like Christmas morning. You are the most vibrant, hilarious, twirling all over the place, beautiful (inside and out) young woman. You are an amazing thinker and an incredible songwriter. Thanks for still hanging out with me, even though you are 14.
We hardly ever get to see photos of Apple, which is probably why we’re so surprised about how much older she looks. However, her actress mom took to Instagram to give her a sweet birthday shout-out in May. “Happy birthday, my darling girl. You make everyday feel like Christmas morning,” she captioned the snapshot of Apple at the time. “You are the most vibrant, hilarious, twirling all over the place, beautiful (inside and out) young woman. You are an amazing thinker and an incredible songwriter. Thanks for still hanging out with me, even though you are 14.” Talk about mother-daughter goals!
