When Brad Falchuk took home an Emmy on Monday, Sept. 16 for his work on The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, his famous fiancée, Gwyneth Paltrow, couldn’t have been more proud of his Outstanding Limited Series win.
After Brad seemingly returned home after the fun night, he was greeted by Gwyn, who took a sweet snapshot of her hubby-to-be — still looking dapper in his tux! — holding his new award. And, instead of gushing about Brad in the pic’s caption, Gwyneth was nearly speechles and just included one heart-eye emoji with the photo.
Brad, 47, and the Iron Man star, 45, recently confirmed their engagement in January of this year. They released a joint statement which read, “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship.”
A couple of weeks after their engagement was announced, Gwyneth flaunted her new $500,000 engagement ring from Brad at the Producers Guild Awards in LA. Kathryn Money — Vice President of Strategy and Merchandising at Brilliant Earth — previously spoke to Closer Weekly about the actress’ gorgeous new rock.
“Gwyneth’s ring features what appears to be a vivid blue premium round brilliant sapphire weighing between 10 and 13 carats (or 18 to 20mm). This gorgeous gemstone is showcased in a platinum setting with claw prongs at the compass points,” Money said, adding that Gwyn’s ring from Brad is much different from the engagement ring she received from her first husband, Chris Martin.
“As you may recall, Gwyneth’s engagement ring from Coldplay frontman Chris featured an emerald cut diamond with a delicate diamond halo and band, a classic look,” Money told Closer. “For this engagement, Gwyneth opted for a more unique and distinctive gemstone that makes a bold statement.” We can’t wait for the wedding!
