In recent years the 44-year-old’s acting gigs have taken a backseat to her running her lifestyle brand, Goop — and since we wish Gwyn would star in more flicks today, we’re taking a look back at her best movies ever!

Though Gwyneth made her acting debut in the TV film High in 1989, her first breakout role was in the 1996 period piece, Emma. A few years later, she starred in Shakespeare in Love, which scored Gwyneth an Oscar for Best Actress — how cool!

She then starred in hits including The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Shallow Hal (2001), and View from the Top (2003), just to name a few!

Interestingly, Gwyneth recently admitted she turned down a few roles in crazy-successful movies like Boogie Nights and Titanic. “[I can’t] change the past,” she told radio host Howard Stern in 2015. “I know that the story is that I turned [down Titanic]. I think I was really in contention for it — I was one of the last two.”

“I look back at the choices I’ve made and think, ‘Why the hell did I say yes to that? And no to that?'” she continued. “And you know, you look at the big picture and think: There’s a universal lesson here. What good is it to hold onto roles?”
