So SweetLeonardo DiCaprio Remembers ‘Growing Pains’ Co-Star Alan Thicke After His Death
Leonardo DiCaprio had the sweetest words for the late Alan Thicke.
The Oscar-winning actor took to Facebook on Wednesday, Dec. 14 to pay a sweet tribute to his Growing Pains co-star following his untimely death.
“Alan was a devoted father, husband, friend and role model. He knew how to harness the power of the entertainment industry to be a positive influence in so many lives — including mine. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I had to work with Alan early in my career,” Leonardo, 42, wrote on the social media platform.

“He had tremendous class, a huge heart, and he taught me and so many others the valuable lessons about humility and gratitude. I’ve seen him a number of times over the years and when Alan Thicke walked in the room, quite frankly, no one was cooler,” the Titanic star continued. “I miss him already. Leonardo and Alan starred in the hit sitcom together from 1985 until 1992 as Luke Brower and Dr. Jason Seaver, respectively. Alan passed away from a heart attack on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at age 69. Some of Hollywood’s greatest stars have been remembering him ever since!
