More than 20 years after Groundhog Day first hit theaters, the classic comedy is being made into a Broadway show!
A musical version of the 1993 movie — which starred Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell — will debut on Broadway in 2017, according to a new report.

The story about a Pennsylvania weatherman (Murray) who finds himself reliving Groundhog Day over and over again will reportedly be adapted for the stage by the same team who developed the theater version of ‘Matilda.’
