Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell Adore Being Grandparents to Their 6 Wonderful Grandkids! Meet Them

We should all be very familiar with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, as they are arguably one of the most adored Hollywood couples today. They also have quite the blended family — one that has given the couple six wonderful grandchildren.

Before the pair met, Goldie and Kurt already had children of their own. The Death Becomes Her actress had son, Oliver Hudson, and daughter, Kate Hudson, from a previous marriage, while the Tombstone star had a child named Boston with his then-wife, Season Hubley. After meeting in 1983, the pair went on to eventually have their only child together, Wyatt Russell.

“I was a pretty aware kid and I can remember being 4 and 5 years old and being aware of how people acted around my parents,” Wyatt previously recalled to CBS Los Angeles. “I didn’t like it and it didn’t make me feel good. It’s an odd thing. I understood it, but I didn’t like it.” Unlike his step-sister, Wyatt sheltered away from fame, but he was still very much involved with his family.

He became a proud uncle to Kate and Oliver’s children and having their little ones around made Goldie and Kurt even happier to be grandparents. The duo loved spending time with their grandkids. Sometimes, the Almost Famous star would post a few photos on Instagram of the two actors cuddling her daughter, Rani Rose.

“The two most important ladies in my life and it happens to be one of their birthdays. Happy Birthday beautiful mama, @goldiehawn #HipHipHooray,” Kate captioned a November 2019 Instagram post of Rani sitting on Goldie’s lap.

Kate’s kids have made Goldie and Kurt love their job as grandparents. During a previous interview with Closer Weekly, the Thing star revealed what he loves to do with his family during the holidays. “We always trim the tree on Christmas Eve and we have a big meal,” Kurt said. After dinner, “the grandkids put their pajamas on and hang up their stockings. We get the fire going and when it gets dark we always choose someone to read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Sounds like a good time.
