Not only does Tom Brady score on the football field but, according to his wife, Gisele Bündchen, he scores in the kitchen, too! During her Wednesday, Dec. 12 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the former Victoria’s Secret model gushed about her husband’s breakfast-making skills. “He’s an amazing waffle maker,” she said. “He makes great waffles.”

Surprised by Gisele’s fascination with one of her husband’s many talents, host Ellen DeGeneres asked, “The kind that you just literally push that thing down?” Obviously, the 60-year-old star was referring to toaster-made waffles. Gisele replied to Ellen’s joke by explaining that he makes his waffles from scratch, even if he might get a little help.

“He has a secret recipe, which I’m sure there’s some package thing involved,” the 38-year-old stated. “I have never seen him making it because he literally won’t let me see it. He jokes with me, he says, ‘I can’t give you the secret otherwise you won’t need me anymore.'”

However, Gisele is A-OK with not knowing the secret behind his recipe. “So I say, ‘Okay, that’s fine, it tastes delicious, I’ll keep eating them.'” Even though she doesn’t know whether her 41-year-old hubby gets help from Aunt Jemima or not, she at least knows the waffles are somewhat healthy considering Tom’s rigorous diet plan.

The New England Patriots quarterback has been extremely vocal about his low in meat, high in fiber, and free of sugar diet in the past. Earlier this year, the dad-of-three opened up about his eating tactics in his book, The TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance.

“I don’t plan ‘cheat days’… I actually don’t believe in the idea,” he revealed to People last year. “The way I eat makes me feel great. But I believe in the ideas of balance and moderation, and if I’m in a place with incredible food, I’ll absolutely try it.”

However, there are certain foods that Tom won’t eat. “No tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, or eggplants,” the couple’s A-list chef, Allen Campbell, revealed in an interview with Boston.com in 2016. “Tomatoes trickle in every now and then, but just maybe once a month. I’m very cautious about tomatoes. They cause inflammation.”

Hey Tom and Gisele, with the holidays coming around, care to share your meal plans with us this way we don’t go overboard with eating? Thanks!
