As Ghostbusters celebrates its 30th anniversary this summer, be prepared for a trip down memory lane when the sci-fi classic returns to theaters in August!
The 1984 comedy starring Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd is scheduled to be re-released in more than 700 theaters on August 29th, but that's not all you can expect from the anniversary.
With plenty of events, new merchandise and special DVD editions surrounding the milestone, August 2014 could very well belong to those lovable ghostbusters and introduce a whole new generation to their wacky adventures.
The Golden-Globe nominated film recently popped up in the news following the death of writer and co-star Harold Ramis on Feb. 24, which no doubt will bring up a well of emotions for the cast and crew during the festivities.
