Get well soon, Gerard Butler! The 47-year-old actor was reportedly hospitalized after a recent motorcycle crash in LA, according to TMZ. The entertainment news outlet reported on Monday, Oct. 16 that the accident was caused by a car cutting off Gerard while he was riding his motorcycle. An eyewitness called 911 and the P.S. I Love You star was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for cuts and bruises. He suffered no broken bones during the ordeal.

Thankfully, Gerard was not badly enough injured to skip his upcoming Hollywood events to promote his newest movie, Geostorm. A rep for the actor did not respond to People when asked to comment on his reported motorcycle crash at this time. Gerard’s latest hospitalization is interestingly not the first time he has been hurt in an accident. Back in 2011, the Scottish star was pulled underwater and dragged over a rocky reef while filming the surfing movie Of Men and Mavericks in Northern California.

Last week, Gerard candidly opened up about recently being injected with bee venom — prescribed by his nutritionist — to treat a bout of painful inflammation. “I don’t know what I was thinking. [My nutritionist] goes, ‘check this out! This is probably about 2.3 bee stings.’ And he gives me a shot in the arm,” the actor told Seth Meyers on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Because he felt fine after the first bee venom injection, Gerard further said his nutritionist decided to give him “another 10” which was “basically 23 bee stings.” What a daredevil!
