Ouch! Gerard Butler’s Girlfriend Morgan Brown Said “No” To His Recent Proposal, Source Claims

Ouch! Gerard Butler is ready for marriage, but unfortunately for him, his girlfriend, Morgan Brown, isn’t. According to Life & Style, the actor recently put on a lovely proposal to his lady, but she didn’t exactly say “yes” when he popped the question. 

“Gerard got down on one knee. He gave this huge speech and gave Morgan a ring,” a source close to the Hollywood hunk, 48, revealed to the news outlet in its newest issue, on newsstands now. “But she said no.”

So, why didn’t she accept? The two have been in an on-and-off-again relationship over the past few years, and now, things are finally OK between the two. “Morgan and Gerard are in such a good place right now. She didn’t want to ruin it,” the insider added. “Morgan told Gerard to ask her again in a year — and he intends to.”

Gerard and Morgan rekindled their romance earlier this year after being spotted kissing on the red carpet at the Den of Thieves movie premiere. They previously dated for three years before briefly splitting. 

“Gerard has a reputation as an eternal bachelor and always looks to be having a fantastic time. His mates find it hard to keep up with his love life, but in the end he seems to come back to Morgan,” a source recently told The Sun. “They got in touch again recently and arranged two dates in LA. It was like they never split up. Things are quite early on but it really seems like Gerard is willing to commit for good this time.”
