He’s one proud dad and George Clooney is screaming it from the rooftops! The Catch-22 star recently opened up about what it’s like being a father to his 23-month-old twins, Alexander and Ella, and how life has only gotten better since welcoming the little bundles of joy with wife Amal Clooney.

“They’re not terrible twos,” the 58-year-old jokingly said of his two kiddos on the Today show on Tuesday, May 7. “They’re good kids. They’re happy kids. They laugh a lot. They do pranks already. Put peanut butter on their shoes, so that it looks like poo-poo on their shoes and stuff, and they think that’s funny.”

The handsome heartthrob also gushed about being able to watch the little youngsters grow before his very eyes. “They really come out with the personalities that they’re born with. They’re just completely different personalities, and they’re fun and smart,” he shared. George even dished that they’re already on their way to being bilingual! “I mean, they already can … do all their ABCs in Italian and in English, and I can’t do that in English.” Ha!

The Money Monster actor could talk about his babies forever, but George made sure to credit Amal — the human rights layer who he married in 2014 — with how well his children are being raised despite her hectic schedule. “She’s taking ISIS to court for the first time anybody’s taking ISIS to court,” he revealed to host Savannah Guthrie.

“She’s working on trying to get the Reuters journalists out of Myanmar. She’s doing all that, and she’s also an incredible mom, like, an incredible mom — and a pretty great wife, too,” he gushed of the 41-year-old brunette beauty. “So I feel like I hit the jackpot.”

Although George and Amal couldn’t be happier about being the parents-of-two, a friend close to the couple recently dished about why baby No. 3 may not be in the cards. “Amal says their hands are full,” the pal — who noted that the pair has stated they’re “done” having kids — told Closer Weekly in January. “But then they think of the Syrian children that need homes and they get really serious. Bringing home a Syrian refugee child would be a dream fulfilled for Amal.”

It looks like we’ll have to stay tuned!
