It appears George Clooney is ready to give up his bachelor lifestyle!
According to various reports, the Oscar-winning actor, who once said he would never get married again after divorcing first wife Talia Balsam, has popped the question to girlfriend of 7 months, Amal Alamuddin.
The pair first stepped out together last October and have since taken exotic trips to Tanzania and the Seychelles.
An insider recently opened up to Closer about George's relationship with the international lawyer, telling us, "Amal is as stunning as any model or actress he's dated, but in this case, her brains outshine her looks."
Added the source, "This is the first time he's been this excited about a new woman."
The 36-year-old British beauty is an Oxford and NYU-educated barrister who has served as a crisis consultant for Syria and Lebanon.
Explained the insider, "In the past few years, George has grown more serious, and he's very interested in world politics and human rights - the same things Amal devotes her life to."
The friend also hinted at the time, "George is very interested in taking this relationship further."
A rep for the actor told People magazine when asked about the engagement, "I don't comment on my client's personal life."
Congrats to the happy couple!
