George Clooney is gearing up to be a first time dad!

News recently broke that he and his wife, Amal Clooney, are expecting twins — and now insiders are revealing although George can’t wait to be a father to his future son and daughter, he’s being extremely protective over his lady during her pregnancy!

“He’s more nervous than she is,” a source recently revealed. “He’s insisting she rest more, and he’s spoiling her with all of her favorite treats. Amal’s been craving pasta and risotto with white truffles lately, and George is indulging right along with her.” Too cute!

However, “He feels like he’s going to gain all the weight,” another source laughingly said, “but
he’s fine with it.”

To top it off, the ER star is also helping Amal design the nursery for their little ones! “It’s going to be muted colors — probably blues, greens, and cream,” the insider said. “George likes airplanes, trains, and jungle animals.”

The A-list actor very recently opened up about his wife’s pregnancy for the first time — and made a sweet confession in the process!

“We are really happy and really excited. It’s going to be an adventure,” he gushed during a new interview on Rencontres de Cinema. “We’ve sort of embraced it all… with arms wide open.”

Sources previously revealed to In Touch how the Money Monster star is “over the moon” to welcome his first children with Amal, whom he previously married in 2014.

“He’s gone from never wanting to be a father to being totally excited about the pregnancy and the thought of raising two children who will call him Dad,” an insider revealed to the news outlet. “He’s been doting on Amal’s every need and talking to her belly. He’s also having a blast coming up with baby names.”

Sources reveal George already has a name in mind for his little boy, although he’s ultimately going to let his wife choose the monikers. “He would love to name his son Nicholas after his father,” an insider confessed. I guess we’ll have to wait and see once Amal gives birth!
