Contrary to popular belief, George Clooney and Amal Clooney are not headed for divorce.
Although rumors have been swirling that the couple’s relationship is being put to the test as their respective jobs force them to live apart, sources reveal to 'Closer' that they’re making it work with style.
“Amal says absence makes the heart grow fonder,” an insider says. “She and George really anticipate being together, and they don’t argue as much because they know that their time together is limited.”

After all, they both knew what they were signing up for when they tied the knot last September, and ambition was a key part of the package. Says the insider, “They agreed that they’d have to spend time apart to concentrate on their busy careers."
"Busy" might be an understatement. George, 53 — one of the hottest properties in show business — is currently in LA filming the upcoming movie 'Hail, Caesar!' which will reunite him with the Coen brothers ('O Brother, Where Art Thou?').

Meanwhile, Amal, 37, is racking up frequent-flyer miles across the globe as she works on high-profile trials. Among her latest is a landmark case involving Armenian genocide.
Still, the newlyweds find precious moments for each other. "They're always on Skype when they're on different continents — that makes them feel closer," says the insider.
