When it comes to gift giving, no one is more generous than Oprah Winfrey. And the 63-year-old media mogul’s best friend Gayle King has certainly benefitted from her big heart (and her equally large bank account). Gayle, 62, revealed during a Tuesday, Nov. 28, appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that the best gift Oprah ever gave her was a live-in nanny. See what she had to say in the video below!

Gayle — who shares two adult children, daughter Kirby and son William Jr., with ex-husband William Bumpus — previously opened up about Oprah’s kind spirit during a 2015 interview with the Huffington Post. According to Gayle, she and Oprah, who first met in 1976 while they both were working at a Baltimore TV station, bonded during a particularly powerful snowstorm. Oprah, who was the 6 p.m. anchor and 22 at the time, invited 21-year-old Gayle to stay at her house when the production assistant didn’t have anywhere else to go.

“When I said I didn’t have any clothes with me, she said, ‘You can wear mine.’ And when I said I didn’t have any underwear she said, ‘You can borrow mine, it’s clean!” Gayle told the outlet, adding that Oprah even spent $19.99 on two-for-one sweaters for them even though the now-billionaire was only making $22,000 a year at the time. “We became friends that first night because for the first time, I met somebody who I felt was like me.”

Since then, Gayle and Oprah have been inseparable. The former talk show queen previously explained why their close bond is so special. “In a way, our friendship is better than a marriage or a sexual relationship,” Oprah, who’s been involved with partner Stedman Graham for more than three decades, said in 2006. “You know, there’s no such thing as unconditional love in a marriage as far as I’m concerned, ’cause let me tell you, there are some conditions.”
