The fan was Teresa Shaw, an Iowa woman battling stage three breast cancer.

First, Garth sat down onstage and serenaded Shaw with his hit song, “The Dance.” Then, in exchange for her touching sign, the country crooner — who lost his mother and sister to cancer — gave Shaw his guitar and a big hug!
