So, to celebrate the actress recently ringing in her 74th birthday, we’re taking a look back at eight of her best film parts ever from Beaches and The Rose to The First Wives Club and Hocus Pocus.

The legend is of course known for her incredible accomplishments in the industry, including her film roles. Most specifically, her performance as Winifred Sanderson in the 1993 classic Halloween film. However, Bette once revealed that it has been some time since she’s since arguably her most famous movie. “I do not watch it regularly,” the Grammy winner once told People in 2018, adding that she hasn’t seen it in two decades but decided to view it before its 25th anniversary.
