According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, there are nearly 27 different places to catch fireworks in Sin City for the Fourth of July. Believe it or not, most of the events are free. If you’re looking for something low-key, you can check out The city of Henderson’s annual Fourth of July celebration featuring entertainment, activities, food vendors, and a fireworks show from 6 to 9 p.m.

Dallas

Head downtown on the big day to catch a beautiful fireworks display at Fair Park — complete with concerts, family activities, and Midway rides. The show is expected to begin at 9:45 p.m. You know what they say — everything is bigger in Texas.

Seattle

No rain is expected in Jet City this Fourth of July! In fact, it’s supposed to be a picturesque 77 degrees with nothing but sunshine. So, take advantage and head to Gas Works Park for the Seafair Summer Fourth.

Atlantic City

When it comes to Atlantic City, the firework options are pretty much endless. Considering nearly every resort puts on their own spectacular show, you can set up shop on the boardwalk and wait for the explosions to begin. The first show begins at 9 p.m. at the Borgata in the Marina District. The Tropicana follows with the second show at 10 p.m.

Nashville

Fireworks in Nashville wouldn’t be complete without some seriously kick-ass music. The “Let Freedom Sing! Music City” firework show is one of the biggest in the country! That’s right, it could even rival New York City’s. The fabulous display includes more than 35,000 pounds of explosives and 100 miles of wire. The show will begin at 9:30 p.m. and the producers of the event encourage the following locations for the best seating: Lower Broadway, Ascend Amphitheater, The Green at Riverfront Park, and Music City Walk of Fame Park.

Atlanta

If you’re in the Atlanta area, head over to Stone Mountain Park for the Fantastic Fourth Celebration. There will be four nights of fireworks, laser shows, and each fireworks display will begin with a 50-cannon salute.

If you find yourself in Bean Town this Fourth of July, then you’re in for a treat. The firework show, “Boston Pops,” includes live music from the Boston Pops Orchestra, as well as a fantastic display of pyrotechnics. The event is free and open to the public and takes place along the Charles River, at the DCR Hatch Shell on the Esplanade between the Longfellow and Massachusetts Avenue Bridges, on both the Boston and Cambridge sides of the river.

San Francisco

A firework show on the San Francisco Bay? Yes, please. The spectacular show takes place at Pier 39 which offers an amazing 180-degree view of the bay. If you’re looking to catch some live music, be sure to show up early for some live events. The fireworks start at 9 p.m. and according to Condé Nast Traveler, if you’re looking to avoid a large crowd, “climb the hill to Coit Tower in Pioneer Park.”

Philly doesn’t mess around when it comes to July Fourth. The firework show is one of the largest free concerts in the country. The “Wawa Welcome America July Fourth Concert and Fireworks” will be held on Wednesday, July 4, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and includes A-list performers like Pitbull! For the best places to sit, check anywhere along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Los Angeles

If you’re in Southern California, there are a few options when it comes to red, white, and blue fireworks. Head to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for a screening of Themla & Louise before the display. Or you can check out a Dodgers game, which will be followed by one of the best fireworks shows in the city. Looking for a free option? There’s always LA’s Grand Park, where visitors can enjoy live music, food, and of course, fireworks.

Washington, D.C.

What better place to celebrate Independence Day than in the nation’s capital? Visitors are encouraged to find a spot on the National Mall (or the steps of the Lincoln Memorial) and set up a picnic before the display starts. The show begins when it gets dark out, usually just after 9 p.m.
