Actress Eva Longoria seems like the best new mama! In a new interview with Us Weekly, the 43-year-old star revealed that she’s trying her hardest to raise her five-month-old son, Santiago Bastón, to be a feminist even from an early age.

When asked the most important lesson she wants to teach Santi, Eva replied, “Women are equal to men.” And just how will she do that? “It’s about showing him. He wants to emulate what I’m doing, so I think it’s important for us to walk the walk,” she told the magazine.

Thankfully, little Santi has lots of strong women in his life to be good feminist examples including his mom’s best friend Victoria Beckham. In a recent interview, Eva gushed that Victoria, 44 — who is a mom to four kids with husband David Beckham — is already giving her the best motherhood advice.

“Victoria is one of the best mums I know and through [my] pregnancy to now she has been giving such great advice. She’s in love with [Santiago] already. [She] and [David Beckham] think he’s so delicious,” Eva told the UK’s The Sun newspaper. Eva is so thankful for Victoria’s advice, in fact, that she hopes her BFF can be one of Santi’s godmothers! “My husband, [Pepe Bastón] and I need to talk about this. In Mexico, you have 18 godparents but it’s absolutely on the cards,” Eva added.

Eva and her hubby are loving being parents to baby Santi so much that they’re reportedly already thinking about having baby No. 2. “She figures why wait? She’s 43 and she’d like to give Santiago a sibling who will be close in age. That’s partly why she’s in no hurry to lose her pregnancy weight. She can’t stop talking about babies. They both would love one more,” a source close to the couple recently told OK! magazine.
