Pregnant Eva Longoria Is Making “Sentimental” Baby Clothes for Her First Child (EXCLUSIVE)
“Building a human is hard,” Eva Longoria, 43, recently said about how she’s feeling in the third trimester of her first pregnancy. Even so, the former Desperate Housewives star, who’s expecting a little boy in June with husband José Antonio Bastón, 49, finds one thing easy — making baby clothes!
Eva, who launched her own clothing line in 2016, “finds sewing therapeutic,” a friend of the star exclusively told Closer Weekly. “Eva’s always been a keen seamstress and wants her ‘miracle baby’ to wear items that have sentimental meaning.”
She started making pillowcases and Halloween costumes when she was given her first sewing machine at eight years old, and she now pursues her passion by creating baby jeans, bodysuits, quilted jackets, and cute hats for her little one. Does this mean she plans to add baby clothes to her business?
“She’d definitely consider it,” the friend revealed. And José fully supports her hobby, although the media mogul leaves the designing to his wife. Despite feeling “so tired” as she gets closer to her due date and being busy with TV appearances, upcoming movie roles, and her business, Eva is determined to keep on sewing.

“Whenever she has a free moment, she gets the sewing machine out,” her friend told Closer. “Being creative is in Eva’s blood, and she sees it as an art.”
