Eva Longoria's 'Desperate Housewives' Quotes Still Make Us Laugh

Gabrielle Solis cracks us up! Eva Longoria‘s character on Desperate Housewives is one of the most memorable — and it’s all thanks to her funny quotes. The actress was known for her hilarious one-liners on the hit show that ran from 2004 until 2012, and we still get a chuckle out of them today.

Although a reboot of the hit drama series isn’t quite in the works yet, Eva has gushed in the past to Closer that she “would play Gaby again in a heartbeat.”

We’re not the only ones obsessed with the iconic character. Eva was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her performance on Desperate Housewives in 2018. “What a dream come true today!” she wrote on Instagram prior to the ceremony. “Receiving my star on the Walk of Fame is an honor I can’t even believe I’m going to experience! Can’t wait to join all the legends and even more so, can’t wait for all of y’all to go and visit it!”

And she was even more excited after. “I’m officially available to be walked all over!” she tweeted later that day. “What an honor! Thank you Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and everyone who helped make this happen!” Now let’s make a revival happen, Gabby!

During the series, Gabrielle was known for always giving advice to her fellow Wisteria Lane ladies. However, in real life, Eva turned to costars Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman for mom advice when she was pregnant. “Oh, my gosh, Marcia and Felicity have given me advice. We talk a lot. They’re always supportive and amazing moms,” the actress told Us Weekly in 2018.
