Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Look Adorable in Matching Tuxedos at Writers Guild Awards — See the Pics!

As if we needed another reason to be obsessed with Emily Blunt and John Krasinski‘s marriage, the famous couple turned heads as they showed up to the 2019 Writers Guild Awards in New York Cute wearing matching outfits this past weekend. Emily and John wore coordinating black and white tuxedos at the special event and looked absolutely adorable as they walked the red carpet hand-in-hand while looking crazy in love at the 71st annual awards show on Sunday, February 17.

John, 39, opted for a black Salvatore Ferragamo tux paired with a white dress shirt and black bowtie while his 35-year-old wife sported a patterned black Dolce & Gabbana tux with an oversized bowtie and pointy-toe pumps. Take a look at the couple’s chic coordinating outfits below! 

It was a big night for John, who was nominated for cowriting the original screenplay of the couple’s film A Quiet Place. Sadly, The Office star lost to Bo Burnham‘s Eighth Grade but win or lose, Emily always supports her man, which we love!

When the brown-haired hunk won the Best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie award for A Quiet Place at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on January 13, he gave Emily and their two kids a sweet shoutout for making the film a success. “I got to make a movie about a love story, and a love letter to my kids and I got to do it with the love of my life by my side. So, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get much better than that!” he gushed. In his speech, John also thanked his fans for such a positive reaction to the first movie that he directed and starred in with his wife.

“I just wanted to say thank you to all the incredible kindness that has been shown to this film — the critics, but most of all, everybody that has seen and loved this movie,” John said. “It means the absolute world to our crew and to our cast and to no one else more than me.”

During a previous interview with HelloGiggles, the Jack Ryan star explained why A Quiet Place was so special to him and his family. “This is truly a story about, ‘What would you really do for your children in order to protect them?’ The family stuff is so emotional for me,” he explained. We love how much John loves his family!
