Are congratulations in order for Ellen DeGeneres?!

The 58-year-old TV star surprisingly exclaimed “I’m pregnant!” during her opening monologue on The Ellen Show on Friday, Sept. 30. But, the unexpected confession was just a joke!

“I’m glad you’re here and I’m glad I’m here because I was not here yesterday. I was feeling bad for the past few days and I was having some really bad stomach aches and I couldn’t figure out what was going on,” Ellen told the audience.

“So yesterday, I went on the website WebMD, put in all my symptoms and it turns out, I’m pregnant!” she said as the crowd erupted with cheers. Turns out, Ellen — who married wife Portia de Rossi, 43, in 2008 — is unfortunately suffering from ulcers. Get well soon, Ellen!
