Ellen DeGeneres Lists Another One of Her California Mansions for $18 Million

So it seems like Ellen DeGeneres is ready to say adios to another one of her homes, as she recently put one of her California properties up for sale.

Just six months after buying the Beverly Hills home for $15 million, the TV personality, 61, and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have decided that it’s time to let go of their mansion, as they have listed it for $17,950,000. Anyone who has that type of money lying around and wants to purchase the soon-to-be former home of the comedian can expect to walk into a 5,100-square-foot space with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. You know, in case you have a lot of friends you want to invite over for fondue night. The property also comes with a two-car garage, and beautiful panoramic views. Check out the photos here!

It doesn’t come as a surprise that the pair is looking to sell this home, as earlier this year they spent a whopping $27 million on another California mansion, this one in Montecito. And the duo got quite the bargain on it as the original asking price was $40 million. This property is an upgrade at 8,188-square-feet with five bedrooms and ten bathrooms! It also sits on 8.24 acres of land. Best part about it? The house is move-in ready.

But the couple shouldn’t feel too bad about selling one of their homes, especially since the one they purchased features bamboo ceilings, a fire pit, oak floors and an outside dining area. And since we should expect celebrities to visit the two, a guesthouse with an additional two bedrooms, a kitchen and a detached office is also included.

With all the wheeling-and-dealing the loving pair has done lately with real estate, don’t expect them to move out of the country — more specifically, Australia, as the host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show was apparently hesitant to move there even after she and Portia put an offer in on a $20 million estate near Portia’s family home in Horsham, Victoria. “California is home to her and she can’t imagine permanently moving to the other side of the world,” an insider once told In Touch.

Well, we just hope Ellen and Portia are loving their new home! And with that price tag, they better be.
