She’s looking good, but Elizabeth Hurley feels even better!

While attending the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party in New York City on Wednesday, May 15, the Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery actress dished her best tips and tricks to maintaining her incredible figure at 53.

“I think we have to stay active, whether it’s formal exercise or just moving around a lot,” the Bedazzled star exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. Elizabeth explained that although working out is crucial for maintaining a fit figure, eating healthy is just as important.

“I think we have to watch what we eat,” the Austin Powers beauty added. “We all know that. Everybody tells us that, but we have to watch what we eat.”

The mom-of-one said that her diet typically consists of a lot of protein and other healthy options. “I eat meat and fish, but I also eat a lot of vegetables, and I’ve really been trying in the last year that 50 percent of the foods I eat are vegetables,” she explained. “It’s not easy but I’m trying — and I think it really makes a difference actually.”

Although she likes to watch what she eats, Elizabeth isn’t a fan of those crazy celebrity diets. In fact, a source close to her revealed the age-defying diet that helps maintain her incredible body. “She boils up a huge pot of soup every week at her country farm and uses vegetables and herbs from her own organic garden,” a source exclusively told Closer Weekly in March.

The insider explained that Elizabeth has a few tricks when it comes to managing her flawless physique. “She’s convinced the bone broth base and fresh farm-to-table produce are doing wonders and keeping her skin healthy and glowing with minimal lines,” they explained. “Plus, she rarely turns on the central heat because cold air is essential for keeping her complexion soft and dewy, in her view.”
