Elizabeth Hurley Didn’t Know Her Son Was Voted ‘Sexiest Offspring’: ‘He’ll Be Thrilled!’

What a surprise! Elizabeth Hurley got a bit of great news recently, as she learned her son, Damian, was voted “sexiest offspring.”

“I didn’t know that, but I am of course incredibly proud of my son and everything he does,” the 54-year-old exclusively told Closer Weekly while attending the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund Fashion Gala.” The model was then informed that her only child, 17, was actually voted on by People.

“I have to tell him! He’ll be thrilled!” the actress gushed. Elizabeth shares the teen with her former partner, Steve Bing. The pair split after a brief relationship in 2001. The Bedazzled star however is still all about family — she even has quite the lovely traditions for the holidays.

“We go home. All my family tend to come to my house and I do a lot of cooking,” Elizabeth explained. “I’m very tired by the end of the holidays, but it’s my favorite time of year of course. I love it.” So great!

This isn’t the first time that The Royals star has had nothing but positive words to say about Damian — she even once revealed that she took time away from Hollywood in order to be all about her son. “Looking after my son became my No. 1 task, and it was a joy to have someone else on whom to focus,” Elizabeth told Closer in an exclusive interview. “I was 36 and had been worrying about myself for quite long enough.”

“I stopped doing movies and TV for the first eight years of his life, and I don’t regret it for a moment,” she continued. “I always put him first.” Because of her time away from the spotlight, Elizabeth was able to launch her own swimwear collection in 2015.

“It allowed me to be more flexible with my time and work when Damian was at school,” she said.

It is pretty clear that Elizabeth’s main priority in her life is her son. We wish them both all the best moving forward!
