Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Just Bought His Mom A House For Christmas — Watch The Heartwarming Video!
What’s one way to show your mom you appreciate everything she’s done for you? Well if you’re Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson you buy her a brand new house.
On Dec. 29, the former WWE star took it to his Instagram to show his 126 million followers quite the touching video of his mom, Ata, opening up her Christmas gift. And her reaction will make you feel a lump in your throat. Dwayne captioned the video, “This one felt good. Surprise! Bought my mom a new home for Christmas,” adding that growing up he and his family moved from little apartment to little apartment.
The Skyscraper star continued, “The first home my parents ever lived in was the one I bought for them in 1999. They divorced about 5yrs later and as with life, stuff happens and things got a little complicated. Since then I always made sure my mom and dad have everything they’ll ever need.” Dwayne also added this little piece of wisdom: “I always say, if you got a good mama, then you gotta pretty good shot at becoming a decent human being. And somehow, somewhere along the line I became one lucky SOB to be able to make stuff like this happen. Merry Christmas Ma and WOOOHOOO enjoy your new home. Dwanta.” “Dwanta” of course being a play on the word Santa.
Dwayne has been on a social media role lately, as over the holidays he also shared a cute photo of his two youngest daughters, 3-year-old Jasmine, and 8-month-old Tiana. The actor mentioned how he understands that he “ain’t gonna be able to hold ‘em like this forever, so you better believe I snatch these cookies and love ‘em up every moment I can.”
And if you’re expecting a gift from Dwayne soon, well you can see him on Jan. 3, when he hosts his new NBC ultimate physical challenge show The Titans Games.
