Doria Ragland’s Highlight at Daughter Meghan’s Wedding Was Reportedly Meeting Queen Elizabeth

If there was one day that Meghan Markle's, mother, Doria Ragland, will cherish forever, it's her daughter's royal wedding to Prince Harry. With Meghan's beautiful wedding dress, Prince Charles walking her down the aisle, and the royal couple's first kiss as husband and wife, there are so many moments that Doria will never forget.

And, according to a new report, Doria adored the wedding but she enjoyed meeting Queen Elizabeth the most! "Doria is saying the biggest highlight of the wedding, of course after watching her daughter say 'I do' to the man she loves, was meeting the queen," a source told Us Weekly. "It would have been extremely intimidating for anyone, but Meghan and Harry really did a marvelous job of preparing her [with] what to expect."

And what type of son-in-law would Harry be if he didn't introduce his royal bride's mother to the Queen of England (aka his grandmother)? Since Meghan and Harry have been dating, Harry has allegedly told Doria "numerous stories about the queen as a grandmother and what she [means] to him," the source added.

One day before Meghan's nuptials, Doria reportedly met with Queen Elizabeth for tea at Windsor Castle and the pair hit it off instantly. She was also able to meet with the rest of Harry's family including Kate Middleton and Prince William and their two eldest kids, Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3.

On Meghan's wedding day, Doria even teared up during the ceremony as she watched her daughter marry the love of her life. Since Meghan's dad, Thomas Markle, wasn't able to make it to his daughter's big day, it meant a lot to the former Suits star that Doria was there. The 61-year-old yoga instructor has since quit her job and it was recently reported that she may now move to London to be closer to her daughter now that she's a royal.
