Donny Osmond Shares Hysterical New Year’s Resolution On Instagram
It’s that time of year again where everyone rushes to get their New Year’s resolution out into the world in hopes of finally sticking to their word. But don’t feel too bad if you’ve already failed, because it seems like even celebrities like Donny Osmond have a tough time with resolutions.
The 61-year-old singer and dancer recently took it to Instagram to share his resolution with all his fans. Donny simply shared this:
“My resolution for 2019 is to accomplish the goals of 2018, which I should’ve done in 2017, cause I made a promise in 2016” the word magnet photo reads. Donny also added this caption: “#NewYear…same me.” I think we can all relate to Donny on that one. On the other side of things, Donny’ sister, Marie Osmond, didn’t quite share a resolution for this year, opting to instead post a Wilma Rudolph quote on her Instagram.
“When the sun is shining I can do anything; no mountain is too high, no trouble too difficult to overcome,” the popular quote reads. But while Donny and Marie didn’t exactly share similar things on their social media platform, the siblings still hold quite a bond after all these years. Marie, one half of the famous Donny & Marie variety show duo, recently talked to Closer Weekly about the special relationship she has with Donny.
“We can finish each other’s sentences and we know what each other’s thinking, but we never see eye-to–eye. That’s our chemistry: it’s toxic. [Laughs],” Marie said, adding that they still have some differences between them. “We are very different people. He loves everything organized and structured, while I like to breathe within the structure of the show. I’m always throwing a curveball at him. He goes crazy and it makes me laugh so I keep doing it.” Marie made sure to add that while “she never had a sister growing up,” she realized that “Donny was the closest thing!”
Not sure how Donny will feel about that.
