So funny! Donny Osmond jokingly revealed what he’s missing in his life after spending months apart from his family during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I could use a large dose of grandkids, pool time and popsicles right about now,” Donny, 62, said on Thursday, August 21, alongside a throwback Instagram picture of him and his grandchildren sitting in his backyard. “Kids, who wants to come push Bapa in the pool again? #TBT #HeatWave.”

The entertainer first shared that photo of him and his little ones in July 2019. At the time, he captioned the snap, “My grandkids just pushed me in the pool, so we celebrated by breaking out some #popsicles.”

Donny hasn’t seen his family a lot in quarantine, but he did find out some interesting news about his kids. In June, he learned his 29-year-old son, Chris, was going to be father to a beautiful baby girl. Then, on August 9, Donny told his fans his 41-year-old son, Don, was expecting baby No. 4 with his wife, Jessi.

Debbie [Osmond] and I are so delighted to share that our 12th grandbaby is on his way!” the “Sacred Emotion” singer said at the time on Instagram. “Our son Don and daughter-in-law Jessi are expecting their [fourth] son. They will now have a cute quartet, and we can hardly wait to meet this precious little baby boy.”

When Chris and Don’s kids get here, they’ll learn all about the amazing things their grandad did like being Captain Li Shang’s singing voice in Mulan. In fact, their little ones might sing Donny’s hit song “I’ll Make A Man Out of You” with their grandfather the next time he does the Disney Family Singalong. But no matter how much fun they may have, the dad of five will always remember the best part about being in quarantine, which was the day he learned he was a “clue” on Jeopardy!.

“I’ll consider this my greatest accomplishment for this month of quarantine,” Donny gushed back in April after sharing the Jeopardy! question, which read, “Tori Spelling’s unicorn and Donny Osmond’s peacock belted out tunes on this show — that line shouldn’t make any sense, but it’s true.”

“‘What is The Masked Singer?'” the “Any Dream Will Do” singer replied. If you ask us, Donny and his grandkids would love binging this show once quarantine is over.
