Pinch us, we must be dreaming! Donny Osmond confirmed he’s going to be a celebrity panelist on FOX’s new singing show, I Can See Your Voice, after he placed second on The Masked Singer season 1.

“The rumors are true!” he wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, September 2. “I’m thrilled to be a part of @FoxTV’s newest series, @SeeYourVoiceFox! I’ll be joining my buddy and the show’s host, @KenJeong, as a celeb panelist. Tune in as contestants compete to win a cash prize if they can tell the difference between good and bad singers … without ever hearing them sing a note!”

I Can See Your Voice is set to premiere on Fox on Wednesday, September 23, at 9 p.m. ET. The show will air right after the premiere of Masked Singer season 4.

Donny’s new business venture comes after he was revealed to be the Peacock on The Masked Singer in February 2019. He placed as the runner-up after rapper T-pain won the whole thing. When season 2 aired in September, the “Soldier of Love” singer joined fans as they watched the singing competition from their couches.

“I loved every performance, even the ones that were eliminated,” Donny said on Instagram at the time. “My biggest takeaway in comparing season 1 that I performed in and what I saw last night is this: I’m so glad the performers are working their costumes. They all showed passion for what they’re doing. Keep it up.”

As season two neared an end, the Dancing With the Stars alum started working on new music. He teased some songs he was developing in December 2019. “I can’t wait to share with you what I have coming your way in 2020,” he said on Instagram. “I’m taking a lot of time off right now to focus on writing #newmusic. I’ve written about 40 new songs, and I expect to write at least 40 more before I’m satisfied with the 10 that I’ll release on my 62nd album.⁣”

Donny’s sister, Marie Osmond, is also moving on in her career. After working as a cohost on The Talk for one year, she decided to leave the show to spend more time with her family. We’re sure Marie will be cheering Donny on when I Can See Your Voice premieres on Fox.
