What a memory! Donny Osmond has done a lot of incredible things in his career, including his wonderful variety show with his sister Marie Osmond — one that he recently recalled.

The 62-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, January 23, to gush about a very special episode of Donny & Marie. “On January 23, 1976, #DonnyandMarie aired for the very first time,” the entertainer wrote next to classic clips from the program. “Missing you and your playful shenanigans today, @marieosmond! Remember that time you threw me into a giant pie on national television? Yeah. I do too. I haven’t forgotten about it either. When you least expect it ..⁣.” So funny!

People couldn’t help but gush about the post, as they responded in the comments section. “Omg! I remember sitting in front of my tv every Friday to watch this show. Loved this show so much. Thanks for the memories!” one person said. “Marie goes through several hairstyle changes; meanwhile Donny changes his how he parts his hair,” another big fan joked, to which Donny responded, “True!”

Donny & Marie lasted for 3 years, wrapping up on January 19, 1979. However, the famous siblings would go on to continue to work together — most recently in Las Vegas, where they had a residency for the past 11 years.

It’s official! At the end of 2019, Marie and I will conclude our #LasVegas residency,” the “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” singer said via Instagram after confirming the news. “It’s a strange feeling knowing that the end is on the horizon. Last night after the show, I couldn’t help but think about all that I’m going to miss once it’s over. I’m going to miss performing on stage with my extremely talented sister every night. She’s the best partner in crime a guy could ask for.⁣”

“I’m going to miss our home away from home, @FlamingoVegas. We’ve had the time of our lives here,” Donny added.

While the duo may not be currently working on anything together, we just can’t imagine that being the case for much longer. And if not, we will at least always have incredible clips to look back on.⁣
