Donald Trump on His Job as President: “I Thought It Would Be Easier”

Well, they didn't say it would be easy!

In a new interview, President Donald Trump made a pretty bold confession about his role of leading the free world. "This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier," the 70-year-old told Reuters. "I loved my previous life. I had so many things going."

He added, "I do miss my old life. This — I like to work, but this is actually more work."

Donald also opened up about how surprised he is that he has little to no privacy. After 100 days in office, he's still getting used to having secret service around 24/7.

"You're really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can't go anywhere," he said, adding one specific thing he really misses about his old life. "I like to drive. I can't drive anymore."

And sometimes, he just can't fit everything into his super busy schedule. The father-of-five RSVPed "no" to the Correspondents' Dinner in Washington DC on Saturday, April 29 (mainly because of how the media has treated him).

When asked if he'd attend in the future, Donald confessed, "I would come next year, absolutely."
