Legendary performer Dick Van Dyke rang in his 99th birthday doing what he loves best — singing, dancing and entertaining in a new Coldplay music video for “All My Love.” Filmed at Dick’s Malibu home in October, the seven-minute video is a celebration of his extraordinary life and career.
“I think I’m one of those lucky people who got to do for a living what I would’ve done anyway,” the Mary Poppins star said in the video, which highlights photos and memorabilia from Dick’s nearly eight decades in showbiz. “Think how lucky I am. I got to do what I do — play and act silly.”
It also shows Dick dancing with his wife, Arlene, duetting with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and basking in the love of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Says Dick: “They all turned out great, I’m happy to say.”
