When the boys are away, the girls will play! Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus keep much of their personal life private — including their 4-month-old daughter’s name — but while “Papa” wasn’t home the other day, the Inglourious Basterds star gave fans a quick sneak peek into her life as the mom to their sweet baby girl.

On Thursday, April 11, the 42-year-old shared an adorable pic of baby toys stacked underneath a children’s book titled, My Dad Is Amazing! “When papa is away,” Diane wrote in the caption along with a black heart. Fans of the couple couldn’t hold back from gushing over Norman — who shares a son, Mingus Lucien Reedus, 19, with former partner Helena Christensen — and his sweet daddy skills.

“This is so sweet. Thank you for being you and giving us a sneak peek into your normal lovely life with Norman,” one fan wrote in the comment section. “As a dad too, I can say that’s a good feeling. Your post gave me a happy moment. Cheers,” commented another.

Even Norman had something to say about the heartwarming pic. “I miss my girls so much,” The Walking Dead star wrote along with a red heart emoji.

Prior to giving birth to her first bundle of joy last November, the blonde beauty wasn’t so keen on having kids. In fact, Diane recently revealed that everything changed when she met Norman. “For a long time, the desire for a child didn’t preoccupy me,” she gushed to Madame Figaro in late-March. “I had my ways. I was fine without one. In short, I didn’t feel absolutely ready. Life ensured my daughter arrived at the right time. It was a surprise, and she is beautiful.”

Diane even admitted that her baby girl gives her good reason to take time off. “I worked during my pregnancy and, when I finally stopped, I felt serenity. I didn’t feel silly missing a role,” she explained to the French magazine. “Today, only my daughter counts. Not sleeping for 24 hours doesn’t matter to me, traveling with suitcases and suitcases and more suitcases doesn’t bother me at all because for the moment, she is well. I’ve chosen to give myself a break of six months to enjoy her.” We are so happy for Diane and Norman!
