Could wedding bells be ringing for Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus? According to a new report, the 42-year-old actress — who is expecting her first child with Norman, 49 — is ready to say "I do" with her boyfriend.
"Diane feels like she's finally found her soulmate. So much so, they're in the early stages of planning a small wedding after the baby is born," a source recently told Life & Style magazine. "Diane and Norman couldn't be happier!"
Norman and Diane first met while filming the 2015 movie Sky and later went public with their romance in July 2016. Though the National Treasure star has yet to confirm her first pregnancy, Diane has recently been photographed sporting a noticeable baby bump.
Though this will be Diane's first baby, Norman is already a father to an 18-year-old son named Mingus Lucien Reedus from a previous relationship with model Helena Christensen. In the past, Diane was married to French actor and director Guillaume Canet from 2001 until 2006 and famously dated Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson for 10 years from 2006 until 2016.
During a previous interview, Joshua revealed that he and Diane never tied the knot because neither actor is "particularly religious." He continued, "Marriage is important for the people it's important for, but neither one of us is particularly religious, so I don't think there's any particular push. But never say never! I don't know," he told Us Weekly in 2012.
In January, Diane candidly opened up about her split from Joshua. "This was a long time coming. Also we broke up many months before we said we were broken up, so by the time I made that decision, it didn’t feel like it was so urgent anymore. You don’t break up overnight after 10 years, you know what I mean? It wasn’t like an urgent, ‘Oh my god, I can’t sleep at night,’ thing. Actually, it felt liberating because I didn’t have to worry about that anymore, so I could immerse myself 100 percent into something else," she told Vulture.
