We miss this drama! When Desperate Houswives ran for eight seasons on ABC from 2004 until 2012, each of the show's 180 episodes were jam-packed with crazy storylines — and we loved every second of it! From hiding dead bodies and kids being switched at birth to a scary hostage situation and a devastating tornado, DH had it all. And, that's not even mentioning all of the shocking character deaths that occured during the series' run.
With a whopping 52 characters dying from the pilot episode through the finale (yes, seriously!), it's no surprise that the Desperate Housewives writers got quite creative with the many ways that the Fairview residents perished. In fact, some episodes were so amazingly dramatic that some members of the cast — which included Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, and Marcia Cross — once expressed interest in the entire show ending with such a bang that a few Wisteria Lane ladies dying in an epic manner.
"I think a couple 'Housewives' should die. I think it would be good," actress Felicity — who played Lynette Scavo on the comedy-drama — previously told HuffPost. "God, that would be great," Felicity's on-screen husband, Doug Savant, joked. "Could you imagine the line in Vegas? Like you could take odds on your character dying — I like that!"
