OMG!Derek Hough Is Leaving ‘Dancing With the Stars’ to Join Jennifer Lopez’s New Show ‘World of Dance’

Fan favorite Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough has announced he is leaving the hit reality show to instead join Jennifer Lopez‘s new series, World of Dance.

“Here’s the exciting news I’ve been hinting at. Thrilled to be joining [Jennifer] and [Ne-Yo] with the amazing new show World of Dance. I cannot wait to see the amazing talent we will uncover on this new incredible adventure!” Derek, 31, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Derek first joined DWTS as a pro dancer in 2007. He will now serve as a judge alongside J.Lo, 47, and Ne-Yo, 37, on World of Dance, which is set to premiere on NBC next year.
