Just Married! ‘Shark Tank’ Star Daymond John Ties The Knot In ‘Very Private’ Wedding (EXCLUSIVE)

Congratulations are in order for Daymond John — he’s a newly married man! While exclusively speaking to Closer Weekly at the Samsung Charity Gala in NYC on Thursday, Sept. 27, the Shark Tank star revealed he and his longtime love, Heather Taras, recently tied the knot in a “very private” wedding. 

“It was [a great day]. Filled with family and friends, very, very private — a few people knew about it and it wasn’t in the public eye and I got married to the girl of my dreams,” Daymond, 49, told Closer at the event. When then asked to share the exact date of his nuptials, Daymond coyly replied, “I don’t remember. I am not telling you,” before breaking out in laughter.

The FUBU mogul and Heather previously became engaged in September 2016 and are parents to a two-year-old daughter, Minka Jagger John, together. Daymond is additionally a dad to two adult daughters, Yasmeen John and Destiny John, from a past relationship. 

So now that Daymond and Heather are officially Mr. and Mrs. John, has their romance changed in any way? According to the TV star, not at all! “We have been together for quite some time and no, nothing has changed. It has been really great and I am enjoying it,” he said of married life. How sweet!

During another chat with Closer back in November 2017, Daymond exclusively revealed he and Heather were already busy planning their nuptials. At the time, the millionaire businessman said the couple was hoping to have a destination wedding but ultimately had to change their plans because of devastation caused by hurricanes. “We had to switch things around [because of what] happened in the Caribbean. We want it to be in a tropical place [with a] super small [guest list],” he explained.
