This doesn't make us happy, like "The Partridge Family" theme song may suggest.

David Cassidy, who became a teen idol in the '70s after playing Keith on the hit sitcom, has been arrested for driving while intoxicated, the second time in six months.

The actor was driving in Los Angeles Friday when he was stopped by police for making an illegal turn, according to the report.

He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was found to have a blood alcohol level of .19, which is more than twice the legal limit.

"David (Cassidy) just completed a stint in rehab and was doing very well in sobriety," said his manager and publicist Jo-Ann Geffen in a statement to Closer.

"He was in Los Angeles to attend depositions by Sony Pictures Television, respondents in a lawsuit filed by Cassidy in 2011 over what he claims are monies long due him from "Partridge Family" merchandise, home video, etc..

"After attending his and his manager's depositions, it appears as if the pressure led to a brief relapse," the statement continues.

"He was on his way to the airport to return to his home in Florida and to transitional rehabilitation. He plans now to return to rehab in an undisclosed facility."

David was arrested in August 2013 for felony DWI stemming from a prior drunk-driving conviction in 2010.

The 63-year-old is currently separated from his third wife Sue and has two children, Katie, 27, and Beau, 22.
