It's Official!Daniel Craig Joins Cast of New ‘James Bond’ Movie, ‘Spectre’
Details surrounding the new James Bond movie, Spectre, may be the most tightly guarded secret in showbiz — until now.
Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as Agent 007 and ‘Skyfall’ director Sam Mendes will return to the franchise for the series’ 24th installment, Pinewood Studios announced on Thursday, Dec. 4.

‘Spectre’ — which follows Bond on a trail to uncover a sinister organization after receiving a cryptic message from his past — will also star franchise alums Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Eve Moneypenny), Ben Whishaw (Q) and Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner).
Newcomers to the cast include Christoph Waltz, Monica Belluci, David Bautista and Léa Seydoux.

During this morning’s live press conference, Sam offered little insight into the meaning of the new film’s interesting title: “Those of you who have some knowledge of the ‘Bond’ franchise and of the legend of Bond will probably have some idea what that refers to, but I couldn’t possibly comment.”
The special agent’s classic car — an Aston Martin, of course — will also be getting a makeover in the new, action-packed installment, the director revealed.
“Together, we have worked on designing a new car — and so, I can reveal, the new Aston Martin D10. A thing of beauty and you can see what it can do when you come and see the movie,” he said of the new vehicle, which was exclusively made for the film.
