Danica McKellar has a lot to celebrate when it comes to her marriage to husband Scott Sveslosky. The happy couple just marked their 10-year wedding anniversary with the sweetest tribute posted on Instagram.
“Exactly 10 years ago, we said, ‘I do!’ November 15, 2014, just before 6:30am, we held a small, sunrise ceremony on a secluded beach in Kauai – only 20 people, including us,” she wrote alongside some photos from their special day. “I still remember the golden glow on your face as I walked down [sic] thr aisle. Ten years has flown by, and I feel like the luckiest woman on the planet! Happy 10 year anniversary, my love!”
Fans of the GAC Family star have found joy in watching Danica’s love story unfold with Scott over the years. They first met in 2013 when they were set up by a mutual friend, and they have been inseparable ever since.
On October 16, Danica, 49, posted a throwback photo on Instagram with a caption recalling the first time she met the lawyer.
“Exactly 11 years ago today, Oct 16, 2013, my life changed forever when I met Scott on a blind date, set up via mutual friends! We didn’t get a picture that day, but the first shot here is from Nov 2013,” she wrote. “And BTW, we pretty much instantly knew that day we’d found our forever. I still remember sitting down across from him and trying hard not to giggle – actually I couldn’t stop giggling at first – I was instantly smitten, staring at my future husband! Happy Anniversary of our first date, my love!”
Prior to walking down the aisle with Scott in 2014, Danica was married to her first husband, Mike Verta, from 2009 to 2013. Together they share son Draco, whom they welcomed in September 2010.

Danica absolutely loves being a mom to her son with Scott by her side. She reflected on a trip taken with her only child this summer.
“It would be hard to express my gratitude for this mommy-son trip!!” she captioned a June 15 Instagram post. “My 13-year-old Draco is growing up to be such an extraordinary human, and I’m so grateful for him. We swam in the ocean, swam in the pool, snorkeled, ate Hawaiian food and swam some more!”
“We even swam with dolphins (will post those soon – total bucket list!! And… once a year, there’s an enormous fireworks display over the ocean at Waikiki Beach… which happened to land on one of the nights we were there! What an amazing and unexpected bonus!” she added..
“Our kids are a gift, and childhood is a short season… let’s enjoy and pour as much love into them as we can!” the post concluded.
Danica previously said that although her first marriage didn’t work out, she was grateful that it led to her becoming a mom.
“I got a great kid out of it. No regrets,” she told Fox News Digital in November 2023. “But my second marriage now with Scott — 10 years together — and he is everything I ever dreamed of.”
