Courteney Cox Hilariously Tells Movers to ‘Pivot’ Like Classic ‘Friends’ Scene — Watch It!
What a flashback! Courteney Cox recently made all Friends fans recall a hilarious scene from the popular sitcom when she told her movers to do one simple thing: Pivot!
The 54-year-old took to Instagram to share a video of herself instructing a couple of movers attempting to get a table down a hall — and all the Cougar Town alum had as far as instructions was to repeat the word “pivot” over and over again, the same word that David Schwimmer‘s character Ross said during the iconic scene in the NBC program, where he and his pals try to get a couch up a flight of stairs
Take a look at the hilarious video below!
The famous moment occurred on the episode entitled “The One With The Cop,” and aired in 1999. Courteney played Monica Gellar on the program that lasted from 1994 to 2004. Aside from David, 52, the cast also included Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc. And while in this day-and-age a lot of reboots are occurring — Beverly Hills, 90210, Frasier, etc. — we shouldn’t expect one of the comedy.
“The girls always say we would love to do it again, and the boys are a little less excited about it for some reason,” Jennifer, 50, once said on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Although the Horrible Bosses actress did have an idea for a show for her and her female castmates. “So we’ve decided that we’ll just do, like — and I’ve said this before — we’ll just do, like, a remake of The Golden Girls in, like, 40 years,” she joked, adding, “Just kind of go out on wicker chairs, you know what I mean? What if we’re Rachel, Phoebe and Monica as just ‘golden girls’?”
Well, while we won’t be seeing new episodes of Friends in the near future, at least we not only have moments like the one Courteney shared above, but we can also watch it on Netflix as much as we want — well, that is until the platform decides to give it the boot.
