Connie Chung Reveals the Key to Her Successful Marriage With Maury Povich — "We Don't Do Anything Together" - Closer Weekly

Absence really does make the heart grow fonder!

After nearly 32 years of marriage and seven years of dating before that, Connie Chung and talk show host Maury Povich have settled on an arrangement that works perfectly for them.

“Don’t do anything together,” Connie reveals to Closer Weekly in the new issue, on newsstands now, with a laugh.

Connie tells Closer, “It really works. You should let the other person do what they want to do.”
“I don’t believe in imposing my friends on my husband,” Connie says. “And I don’t want him to impose his golf friends on me!”

The former news anchor further explains her and Maury’s atypical approach: “If the other person has a passion that you don’t, so what? Be agreeable with their passion no matter what it is.”
