After comments comedian Jay Mohr recently said about actress Alyssa Milano made their way around the internet, Mohr has apologized to the actress over Twitter…sort of.

The “Suburgatory” star originally had this to say about the “Who’s the Boss?” actress:

"She's very tiny, in height…It seems like she had had a baby and said, 'I don't really give a s–––'… I read it on her gut," Mohr said about Milano's physique at the Nascar Spring Cup Series Awards gala he hosted in Las Vegas on Dec. 6.

"Somebody sat in the director's chair was not wearing Spanx and I was like 'Jesus Christ!'" he added.

Milano, who gave birth to son Milo in August 2011, decided to take the high road when responding to Mohr via Twitter.

"@jaymohr37 So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me,” Milano wrote. “Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife.”

Mohr is married to actress Nikki Cox and also welcomed a son in 2011.

After a few days of silence from the comedian, he finally responded to the angry throng of Twitter users backing Milano by tweeting,

“She's stunning. I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have [been] taken as a joke. #fail."

No word yet on whether Milano has accepted Mohr’s pseudo-apology. We’re sure she has more important things to worry about.
